A Punch RAK

11

I’ve been purging my craft room lately, and I have several items that are very gently used and that I know I won’t give them the love they might deserve. What better thing to do than to give them to someone who will?

So… I know I don’t have very many regular visitors, so I’m going to give this RAK serveral days to gather comments.

Fiskars Pop-Up Punch 12 Piece Set

Fiskars Pop-Up Punch 12 Piece Set

The way to be the winner of this RAK is to leave me a comment telling me the thing you love the most about the home you live in right now. (I have houses on the brain, since we’re building one.)

This coming Friday, May 22, I’ll do a random number generator to find the winner of the RAK.

Thanks for dropping by!

The thing I love most about my current house is that I have my own bathroom!
I think that’s going to take some *serious* adjustment when we move.
It would be so cool if we win this set.

Hi Jen! When we moved to this house, it was because we were supposed to be here. Now that my kids are mostly out and gone, I would have to say my stamp room is what I love most! It is an ongoing process and I will prolly be working on it forever to get it how I want it to be. For now I don’t have to use the kitchen table and I can shut the door! Someday I hope to have a nice kitchen. Raising all these kids, made it impossible to really put much money into the house. I hope to recarpet, put in new windows and siding and soon! Gotta get that missionary home first. 65 days! Wahoo! Thanks for the opportunity Jen. I am glad you enjoyed your family getaway! Have fun with your new stuff! :)

What do I love most about my house? That’s a hard question. I’ll have to go with from yard. We live in the desert, so it is mostly rock, but has a lot of colorfully blooming plants that makes it look and smell so nice.

On the inside, the paint colors. It was painted by the previous owner, so I didn’t have to do it, but I really like the chosen colors. The dining room is purple, the main walls in the great room/kitchen are kind of a barely banana color. The kitchen has an accent wall that is really rust. The great room has some Venetian Plaster areas that are more of a close to cocoa color. The bedrooms are all different, but nice. Well, except for the Kermit the frog green room, but that is my dh’s office, so . . . who cares. lol We have a bug room (seriously there is a wonderful scene with the cutest bugs) that was used as a nursery. Now I definitely don’t need a nursery, but I won’t paint over them. It makes a fun guest room, especially when the grandchildren come to stay.

Hello, Jennifer! I am much older than most of those responding, I am sure! My husband, Ken, and I have six grown children and 15 grandchildren that live in the same area where we raised them! (WOW!!) We live in an older home that was changed-out, added-onto and pieced together by several different owners! However, the main thing that Ken, our children, grandchildren and I love about this home is the “open” feeling we get when we all get together! When we hang out, watch movies or TV in the family room, (which is quite often) it is very enjoyable to have such a great room to hang out in! The openness flows from the kitchen into the dinning room, and then into our family room! (It used to be a garage!! Then they put a detatched garage on the other end of the house, which is HUGE!) When I am cooking, I can still be a part of what is going on with the family! (That is very important to me!) It is the gathering place for everyone to congrigate and we all love the warm feeling we get when we are in it! We also have 3 different levels to the house and it is a very fun place to live! I use the half-basement for my stamping/scrapbooking room! It’s a great place to be! Best wishes on getting that new house built!

the thing I love most about my house is my kitchen. I actually chose this model because it had a big beautiful kitchen with granite counters, 2 islands and TONS of cupboards. And most importantly a big pantry too! It’s one thing I will never complain about.

What I like about my house? It would have to be that my family makes it the perfect home. Without my girls and my husband, my house wouldn’t be a home!!!

Thanks for the RAK.

Hi Jen,
I am new to the blogs. The best part of my house is the kitchen and living room, where my friends gather when they come over once a week to share good food, friendship, sewing and crafting. We just finished a quilt top we intend to donate in the fall, to benefit the local Marine Science Aquarium. After working on the quilt one of the members of our group decided we needed something different to do and taught us how to make cards . We have become addicted to cardmaking. We can’t wait for our time together to share any new ideas and tools they picked up during the week. I am glad I stumbled onto your site. I hope your home becomes a wonderful place for friends and family to gather. Take care.

The thing I love about my house is the location. Right in the center of the city!!! Close to everything!
